Pu-erh Tea – Aged and Earthy
Share
Pu-erh is a unique fermented tea from China’s Yunnan province, prized for its deep, earthy flavor and digestive benefits. Unlike most teas, Pu-erh improves with age — just like fine wine. It can be found in loose-leaf form or compressed into cakes.
To prepare, rinse the leaves quickly with hot water (called a “wake-up wash”), then steep for 3–5 minutes in 95°C (203°F) water. The brew is dark, smooth, and grounding.
Enjoyed after meals or as a meditative moment, Pu-erh is a tea for those who love bold, complex flavors and ancient tea traditions.
