Traditional Sencha Green Tea
Share
Sencha is one of Japan’s most popular green teas, cherished for its vibrant green color, fresh grassy notes, and smooth, slightly sweet taste. Grown in full sun and carefully steamed after harvesting, Sencha offers a clean, refreshing flavor that’s perfect for daily enjoyment.
To prepare a traditional cup, use water heated to 70–80°C (160–175°F) and steep 1 teaspoon of loose-leaf Sencha for 60–90 seconds. This gentle brewing process preserves the tea’s delicate character and prevents bitterness.
Whether served hot or cold, Sencha is an ideal choice for a mindful tea moment. It's rich in antioxidants and naturally low in caffeine — perfect for focus and calm throughout the day.
