In a small bowl, sift your matcha powder to avoid clumps. Add the hot water and whisk gently in a zigzag motion until smooth and frothy. -
Warm the milk.
Heat the milk in a saucepan (or frother) until hot but not boiling. Froth if desired — the foam adds a lovely, café-style finish. -
Mix the magic.
Stir in your caramel sauce and a small pinch of sea salt. Whisk until the caramel melts completely into the milk. -
Combine & serve.
Pour the salted caramel milk over your prepared matcha. Stir gently or leave the layers for a beautiful swirl effect. -
Optional final touch.
